Welcome to The Manor House
Our food is all freshly prepared by a team of professional chefs, using the best quality ingredients sourced locally. We provide full table service, but retain a relaxed and informal atmosphere of a pub. In our first year we were proud winners of "Best Family Friendly Restaurant 2006”, and runner up in “Best New Restaurant 2006", in 2007 we were runner up in "Best Local Produce" in the Leicestershire & Rutland Restaurant Awards. And in 2008 we were "Best Food Experience" runners-up in The East Midlands Shine awards.
Following a £600,000 investment in The Manor House, during the summer of 2005, the striking Victorian building has been restored to its former glory, retaining many of its original features, but also extended and opened up to create a light, airy and modern pub in which to enjoy a drink or dine.
As well as our bar and dining rooms, we have a great garden for relaxing with a cold drink or al fresco dining on our patio or decked area, and a first floor private room which can be booked for business meetings, social occasions or even private dining.
